    Wednesday, May 21, 2014
    12:15–1:00 p.m.

    Google+ Hangout

The New York City rental market can be overwhelming, especially for fresh college grads. On May 21, Lubin House will offer an online Google+ Hangout with three Syracuse alumni real estate experts to address common questions about finding an apartment in NYC.

What factors should be taken into account when evaluating a potential apartment and landlord? How much of your entry-level salary should be spent on rent, and how can you find an apartment that is within your desired price range? Which up-and-coming neighborhoods might you want to consider? What is a guarantor, and will you need one to successfully secure an apartment?

Learn all the secrets of hunting for an apartment in New York City with alumni experts Savita Pandya ’12, Jason Renock ’10, and Shelli Scrimale ’97.

In advance of May 21, send your questions to Dan Klamm or tweet with the hashtag #SUinNYCapts to ensure Savita, Jason, and Shelli are able to address your questions during the Google+ Hangout.
